8) Maintain your car

Don’t wait until your car breaks down to deal with it. Take the time for regular maintenance and oil changes. That way you can avoid paying for big repairs and replacement parts. 

9) Plan ahead for gift buying

Waiting until the last minute could end up costing you more money. Plan ahead and budget for upcoming birthday and Christmas gifts. Keep to a budget and find items on sale.
